Mount Juliet Launches Innovative New ‘Major Open Series’

- One professional golfer will be nominated as the money back special for each Major
- Purchase and play a fourball as part of this initiative and if the nominated golfer wins, get your money back
- Four Mount Juliet competitions will be linked to the four 2012 Major tournaments
- Each competition held 3 weeks in advance of the Major
- Rory McIlroy nominated for the US Masters
- Also, the best score returned by the fourball, will enter a playoff for a place in the Lexus Race to Mount Juliet Pro Am in October

Mount Juliet Golf Club has launched a bold new initiative linking four new competitions with the four Major tournaments of the year. Each of the four Mount Juliet Major Open’s will give teams of four the chance of a full cash refund should Mount Juliet’s chosen golfer win the linked Major.

Defending US Open Champion and world number one Rory McIlroy has been nominated as Mount Juliet’s money back selection ahead of the US Masters next month.

The winning team from each Mount Juliet Major Open Series will gain automatic qualification for the Mount Juliet Major Grand Slam event where a place in the Lexus Race to Mount Juliet Pro Am awaits the winning team.
