Unfortunately the Winter Series scheduled for 23rd October fell victim to the weather and after incessant rain which started in the morning and gradually got worse, any players who had commenced their round had to be called in and the competition abandoned for the day with an alternative date to be arranged at a later stage.
The next round of the Winter Series will be held on Thursday 6th November and this will be an 18 hole 3 Person Rumble.
Because of the reduction in daylight hours it has been the policy of Mount Juliet over the past couple of years to have a two tee start for all golf between the months of November and February. This formula has proved to be very successful and it means that golf tee times are from 10am to 12 noon each day with play commencing on the 1st and 10th tees only.
With Christmas not too far in the distance it is well worth considering our Special Golf Package only available “on Line” until 31st October – for that special friend or to treat oneself. It consists of 18 holes of golf at Mount Juliet Championship Golf Course, one hour’s tuition from our resident golf professional, Sean Cotter, and a lunch all the attractive price of €120.
