Helipad / Helicopter Landing Instructions at Mount Juliet

  1. Helicopter Pilots must contact Reception requesting permission to land helicopters on a specific date and time.
    Phone 056 7773000. Landing Permission is not granted unless you receive confirmation from Reception either by text, fax or email.
  2. helicopter Pilots must adhere to the following:
    (a) The use of the Helipad, or any alternative helicopter landing or parking site on the Mount Juliet Estate is entirely at the risk of the owners of the helicopter, and Mount Juliet accepts no liability of any kind in respect of such use or in respect of any damage that may occur.
    (b) Any use of the Helipad or of alternative landing or helicopter parking site shall be limited to such time as may be indicated at the time of granting the permission to land and Mount Juliet reserves the right at all times to require the owner of the helicopter to remove his helicopter from the Helipad or from such alternative helicopter landing or parking site forthwith in demand by Mount Juliet.

Procedures for Helicopter Pilots:

  1. Proceed west of Stoneyford or east of Thomastown to Jerpoint Abbey N 52º 30' 38.32" W 007º 09' 27.45". Then proceed west of the River Nore to the Helipad which is located N 52º 31' 33.00" W 007º 11' 13.00". It is denoted by a "H" and is of black asphalt construction. On Departing the reverse applies.
  2. Please note and avoid the NO FLY area as indicated on the map. Helicopters are NOT permitted to fly over this area under any circumstances.
  3. As Mount Juliet has both a stud farm and equestrian center on site and is surrounded by stud farms, it is imperative that helicopters follow this flight path for safety purposes.
