Mount Juliet Member’s Summer Party

Guests enjoy weekend celebrations at Kilkenny Estate

The beautiful Mount Juliet Estate hosted a private members event on Saturday, August 14th in the stunning surroundings of its 18th century walled gardens on the 1500 acre estate in Co. Kilkenny.

Members including Estate home owners, and many from the golf club, health club, equestrian, cricket club and fishing club enjoyed an afternoon and evening of celebrations in the beautiful surroundings.

The day commenced with a party in the walled gardens where guests were greeted with Pimms and a BBQ. The picturesque garden was decorated with colourful flags and teepees while Alice In Wonderland characters entertained the children. Other entertainment included live jazz, croquet, a Mad Hatters Tea Party, a Circus Skills workshop, face-painting and a puppet show by renowned puppeteer Miriam Lambert.

Later on that evening guests were treated to an evening of entertainment with legendary Irish band the Hothouse Flowers. The outdoor concert took place at the Courtyard of the estate where members also witnessed a spectacular fire performer display and sipped refreshing Mojito cocktails.

The event was a wonderful success, enjoyed by all in attendance.
