We particularly enjoy welcoming senior and active retired guests here to Mount Juliet Estate. Many of our active retirement guests have the beauty of having time to relax and truly appreciate all the services and facilities that we have available to them here at Mount Juliet Estate.

The needs of our active retired and senior guests are a priority at Mount Juliet Estate and we have designed special touches with them in mind. Beds which both support and encourage a good night's sleep and twin rooms are available. We have a number of accessible rooms for guests with limited mobility - both in our manor house and also the Hunter's Yard. In the Hunter's Yard we also have an elevator to assist with mobility.

Our senior guests often like to enjoy an estate tour followed by our spa Treatment Suites and then enjoy dinner at the Hound.However, by far the most popular activity is Afternoon Tea at the Manor House. Afternoon Tea can be savoured in the luxury of the Major's Bar at the Manor House, with sandwiches, scones and petit fours ideal for sharing and taking your time over.

You can also take the time to stroll through the walled gardens or enjoy refreshments on sunny days outside Mount Juliet House.

For those who want something more active we have estate activities such as falconry, fishing and golf on the estate. You may also with to venture into the historic city of Kilkenny which is only 20 minutes drive away.
